RPE-8

Not sure if you know about "RPE", or the Rate of Perceived Exertion?
It's self-rated scale, 1-10 of how hard you are working during exercise. I reckon a 1 is weight training by lifting pints in the pub. 3 or 4 is something you could do all day. 5 is breaking into a sweat and 10 is when your muscles are quivering, the blood is pounding and you know that you're going to fall over in just another minute or two.
Tomorrows challenge, do something that gets you working around RPE-8 for a total of 20 minutes. My plan is to cycle to work, and on the way home cycle up One Tree Hill... twice!

Ok... have done a 40 minute jog - RPE 6 - but I will do my work out tonight with the personal trainer and let me tell you, 10 feels a little light for those sessions! (On the back of 80 minutes cycling yesterday and 3 hours teaching dance!)
