Hey guys...anyone keen to train for this (it's in Wellington on Sunday 15 Feb...shortest distance is a 7km run which is definitely doable) i've decided it's going to be the first running race i do...and want to work up to a half marathon...so who's keen?!?!

Good one. Well I'm sitting here eating giant jaffas so I had better get off my backside and do something. Why do I have no self control???

As for running the bays... I will need to shed at least another 5-6 kg before I could beat the concrete that long... Happy to ride a bike by you as you train though Chels!

Excellent...i may well take you up on that at some stage...although i've got a couple of chicks from my gym who i've started a running group with on Tuesday and Thursday mornings...so that's going well...running 6km at the mo so should easily be able to do 7km by the Feb if not the half marathon (although that's pushing it!)
